Terms and Conditions - Mash Events

************IMPORTANT NOTICE******************

An Aggressive behaviour, abusive use of words, threat/Warning will not be Tolerated at Mash events,.

As a result, Mash events have full rights to take the props back from the venue even before the party has started without consent of the client.

Any of these behaviour to delivery crew, admin Staff or Management, will end up in cancellation of your order, with no refund of booking fee, and forfeit of Delivery as well if delivery has occurred.

We ask that you please read and understand the below terms and conditions before making a deposit. Payment will indicate that you have read, understood and agreed to our terms and conditions.

Bookings

Mash Events accepts deposits and full payments via bank transfer and cash.
Please go though your invoice when its sent and advise Mash events if any props have been missed to be included in your final invoice. Mash events will not be held responsible for receiving incorrect/less/more props on day.
A deposit is required to be paid within Two (48 hours) days of being provided with the invoice. If deposit is not paid within Two days (48 hours) of invoice, the availability of props may not be guaranteed.
Bookings are confirmed once a 25% deposit is received with screenshot or other methods of proof payment to Mash Events.
Once the hirer pays the deposit, they accept the terms and conditions outlined by Mash Events.
The final balance must be paid in full on pick up of props or upon delivery of props, prior to finishing set up. If the hirer is not available to handover cash upon delivery, full payment must be paid prior to delivery.
The Hire period for all items is a maximum of three (3) days, if not 2x charges apply and need to be returned within 6 days of pick up . Longer hire periods may be arranged between Mash Events and the hirer.
If a custom made prop is requested a 20% non-refundable deposit must be paid prior to the custom made props being built.
Client is not eligible for refund for incorrect start and finish time provided and if we are unable to accommodate the request last minute within a 1 week span of time
There is a $399 minimum order for delivery of items.

Delivery, Set up & Pick up

Delivery/Pick up delay due to bad weather, will not be eligible for a refund.
Delivery may be previous night or on the day of the event will be decided by mash events earlier that week of your event.
Delivery can be partial or full will depend on Schedule of Mash events, partial delivery will be followed by completion will be before event start.
Please provide detailed parking details in ‘Details for your Event’ form. Any difficulty in access( for example no parking onsite, no loading dock, street parking that may or may not be available during delivery) shall need to be mentioned during the booking, failing to do so may cause delay in delivery and installation and may cause the additional delay charges to be deducted from your bond.
Delay due to a difficult parking access causing delay in delivery to venue from parking spot, mash will not be responsible for the delayed set up times.
If Client is not happy with the product on arrival, we request you to mention on delivery, if this is mentioned after the event has completed there will be no refund provided.
When a earliest availability for venue is request this means we have time from the earliest availability of the venue until the party start time to install our props. minor delay after the event start time may occur sometime depending on how busy our crew is and how much time venue provides us. With that said, we always strive to have your event successfully ready before your event start time.
Mash event delivers items included in your invoice, please refer to your invoice to find out the items you will be receiving on the day. Failing to check the items on the invoice and receiving the different product than expected(that is not included in your invoice) Mash events will not be held responsible for any refund or credit note.

Balloons and Florals

We Try to Recreate your inspiration as much as possible with closest matching colors and similar type florals/balloons however we do not replicate any designers work exactly.
Mash has an original style of work which we keep up and all work will be similar or better compared to our previous style and work.
Florals designs and type/style will be similar to the florals we have, all inspiration will be recreated using our style and florals we have in store.
With the installation of balloons outdoors we will ensure to add a protective layer on balloons (if client is happy to do so), However hot weather conditions have a massive effect on Balloons, we don’t recommend leaving balloons under direct sunlight for more than a couple of hours.

Bond

A bond is required to be transferred a 5 days prior to delivery.
The bond is refundable on pick of props after the event in original condition, minus fair wear and tear. The minimum bond charged is $100 for major damage.
Bond will be returned in 3-5 business days after pick up from the venue or dropped the props back to Mash events.
Bond will not be returned in cash, they will need to be transferred back to your bank account.
If insufficient amount paid on delivery, this amount will be deducted from bond prior to refund.

Conditions of Props

All the of the props we use are ex props (previously used for other events) , Except for the custom made.
Mash event strives to keep all our props in a very good condition for next use. However refunds are not eligible foe small wear a tear of ex props on hire, this can happens during transportation or previous use for the events
Unless the props are fully broken and not used for your events, Mash events will provide you full/Partial refund if the props haven’t been used at all for the term hired

Cancellations and Changes

All cancellations, booking fee of 25% will be forfeit within 4 weeks of date of event, all other cancellations are subjected to credit note for the booking fee paid.
Credit notes are non transferable to friend or relative. This may result in cancellation of credit note.
Cancelation on booking made with a credit note will not have any refund even when cancelled outside 4 weeks notice.
If full payment is made 25% will be deducted before returning the amount.
Any cancellation of custom made props will forfeit the 20% additional deposit.
If you need to change the date of your event, please let us know as soon as possible. We will try to accommodate the new date, however this may be dependent on availability of props. Any deposit paid will be carried forward to the new event date. Deposits can only be carried forward a maximum of twelve (12) months.
Event date and time cannot be changed 1 week prior to the event, this will end up in forfeit of booking fee
Change of date can be done just twice for the same event, different events with different props will end in forfeit of booking fee, date availability will need to be checked with Mash events. If mash is not available for the date requested, there will be no refund of booking fee.
However if any situation event is cancelled due to COVID restrictions we can carry forward to 2 years, if supported with proof.
Any postponement or cancellation of custom made order due to COVID restrictions, credit can be carried to use for the same order. If postponed to a completely different order, custom made items will be charged 25% deposit.
All orders via external suppliers require full payment and full payment forfeit on cancellation. Rebooking date is subjected to availability. If the items are not available on the date of change, payment will not be refunded by external suppliers.
All EOFY packages/Props does not apply for refund in any circumstances.

Breakages and Loss of Items

The hirer holds responsibility and liability in the event of any breakages, damages and/or loss of equipment during the hire period.
The hirer agrees to pay for all products damaged, broken, lost or stolen or not returned.
Mash events can withhold the bond fee to cover any breakages, damages and/or loss of equipment during the hire period.

However if any situation event is cancelled due to COVID restrictions we can carry forward to 2 years, if supported with proof.
Any postponement or cancellation of custom made order due to COVID restrictions, credit can be carried to use for the same order. If postponed to a completely different order, custom made items will be charged 25% deposit.
All orders via external suppliers require full payment and full payment forfeit on cancellation.
If the items are not available on the date of change, payment will not be refunded by external suppliers.
We do not charge for minor wear and tears of props, nor do we refund them on delivery/pick up by clients

Collection and Return of Items

It is the responsibility of the hirer to load and unload all hired items unless delivery by Mash events has been invoiced.
If the hirer requests assistance from Mash Events to load and unload items, Mash Events is not responsible or liable for any damage, if any, to the hirer’s vehicle.
When transporting items, the hirer is responsible to ensure that all items are not exposed to water and/or dust.
The hirer is responsible to ensure that all items are secured during transportation to avoid any damage to the items.
A late fee of $20 per day will be charged if items are not returned to Mash Events on the arranged day.

Cleaning

All hired items must be cleaned with wet wipes ( no washing with water) by the hirer before being returned to, or prior to pickup by Mash events.
A minimum cleaning fee of $10 per item will be charged if items are returned to Mash Events dirty and not in the same condition upon hire/delivery.
Mash Events requests the hirer does not use any chemicals or bleach to clean the props. It will be the responsibility of the hirer to pay for any damages caused by using such chemicals.

Changes to Documentation

Any documentation published by Mash events including, but not limited to, the Terms and Conditions, Price List and Brochure can be changed at any time without notice.
Credit note provided can be used with any changes and updated price list.

Terms of Discount

Any discounts offered by Mash Events, including the event planner/stylist discount, does not apply to delivery, setup or bond fees.
Images from the event showcasing our props must be shared with us and images may be used by Mash Events for social media/ marketing purposes.

Liability

Mash Events are not responsible for any injury, disability or death that may occur as a result of items supplied for hire by Mash Events.
The hirer is responsible for all hired items and any associated liabilities until the items are returned to Mash Events.
The hirer is to use all equipment safely and for their intended purpose.
The hirer is to adhere to any instructions provided by Mash Events.
Mash Events has the right to use, edit or share any images which showcase their products. Mash Events can post any images showcasing their products on their social media platforms or website without further consent by the hirer.

Privacy Policy

Mash Events will not share any personal information with any other third party business or person without the consent of the customer. Mash Events will not use your personal information for reasons other than outlined below:

For securing a booking which requires your contact details
Having your contact details available to arrange drop off and pick up times
For sending you a quote or invoice
To send emails with special offers
Mash Events will not send you any irrelevant or inappropriate marketing other than special offers from time to time.

For each visitor to reach the site, we may collect the following information, including, but not limited to, pages viewed while browsing the site, page access times and referring website address. This collected information is used solely internally for the purpose of gauging visitor traffic, trends and delivering content to you while you are at this site.

Mash Events has the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time, without notice.
